Dogtoberfest is this weekend here in Prescott. Its an all day event in our downtown area dedicated to the dogs. They have all kinds of little competitions and other event and I think we are even entering into a few.

As expected Bri got home from California and fell in love with Koji, but something interesting happened. We found out that Koji loves me! I took my mother-in-law home after she got done visiting with Koji and apparently he waited at the door for me the entire time I was gone. I thought he was just a mommas boy and liked to be where ever any one was but I watched him and observed that he follows me from room to room when I am up and moving about. Interested side note is he likes to give flat tires as he walks so close to you that he steps on your flip flops.
All in all the night went well. The dogs are no longer going to be sleeping on the bed with us as they are both the biggest bed hogs ever. This was always the case with Honzo but now with this new boy its just a little to much. This won’t be a problem with Koji as he is used to sleeping on the floor but Honzo is definitely not!

Let me tell you, walking two Bostons who are not loose leash walkers is not easy task. I doubt we’ll be going with out by our selves again. You need at least two!

First is Honzo (as in Hatori Hanzo from Kill Bill, yes we are nerds). We got Honzo when he was 6 weeks, the day he got his first set of shots. We were living in an apartment building where a couple that we knew had a couple Bostons that were prego. About a week after they were born we went and chose Honzo. He was the most friendly and out going which is still true to today. To the point that its probably annoying to most people but such is life. Honzo is a year and six months old and still every bit of puppy he has always been.

Second comes Fluke (though we are changing his name). We just got Fluke, literally like Saturday. We have been wanting to get a new pup for Honzo to have some one to play with when our energy wears out, because his is limitless. I went down to Anthem here in Arizona to pick Fluke up on Saturday afternoon. I took Honzo with me just in case they did not like each other, which I thought was gonna be the case when they first met. I think a lot of this had to do with the fact that they had there leashes on. The drive home was not bad.

He has been home for two days now and things are going well. They are keeping each other busy enough and its really fun to watch them play. It’s also really interesting to see how different there personalities are. Fluke is some what of a mama’s boy and always want’s to be in the same room as you while Honzo is quite the opposite and could really careless where you are (which often makes for trouble….)

Today is the day the Bri get’s to meet Fluke as she has been in California with family while he came home. I am really stoked to see how she likes him because I have a feeling it’s gonna be love at first site!
